Patrick and I pastor a local church and provide pre-marital and marital counseling as part of my pastoral responsibility. This book is designed to answer these two questions. I am emotionally and spiritually stable, but still feel incomplete. I have built a wonderful career, I have a great church family, plenty of family and friends, but I am ready to start a family. This book is about why men struggle with monogamy and marriage. Often times, women spend a great deal of their adult life in bondage to the thoughts that their singleness is related to inadequacy. Many women suffer with the insecurity that because they are not married yet, they are in some way not good enough. Not to mention all the women who have been a part of infidelity who feel that it was somehow all their fault. That could not be any further from the truth. The truth is, in most cases a man’s lack of desire to get married or his inability to remain monogamous has nothing to do with you. A lot of times it has everything to do with how he “perceives” monogamy and how he was affirmed during his teenage years. “Why Won’t He Marry You” will offer freedom to every woman who is still blaming herself for the abandonment or rejection she has experienced in past or current relationships.
